A "spec" promotional piece of Amanda Janoo, the Democratic Nominee for Governor of Vermont.
An homage to Norman Rockwell's 1943 Saturday Evening Post cover, "Rosie the Riveter" - which highlighted the importance of American women being part of the workforce during the Second World War. Rockwell painted the image in his Arlington, Vermont studio, and his model was the town's 19-year-old telephone operator, Mary Doyle Keefe.
Janoo is a Fulbright Scholar and Cambridge University trained Economist who's previous work includes the United Nations Economic Development Agency. She currently serves as the Economics and Policy Lead for the Wellbeing Economy Alliance.
